Sudanese people went out in massive processions and demonstrations in Khartoum and a number of other cities in the country yesterday as part of the Marches of Millions called by the resistance committees against the October 25 military coup. Mysterious injuries, possibly caused by a new weapon, were reported.
Two women died in a hospital in Um Rawaba in North Kordofan on Wednesday as doctors are on strike alongside all other employees of government departments in the town. Um Rawaba witnesses a complete closure of government departments.
Late on Wednesday, the United States of America’s Senate passed a draft resolution “to condemn the military coup in Sudan and support the Sudanese people,” and the House also unanimously passed the non-binding resolution with a quick vote without any objections.
